COLORADO PCIP INFORMATION

Colorado residents who are eligible for the states Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) may submit an application for coverage for the PCIP plan that is run by Rocky Mountain Health Plans and Cover Colorado.
To be deemed eligible:
- You must be a US citizen or national or be in the US legally.
- You must be without medical coverage for six months prior to submitting your PCIP application.
- You must have a health condition that has caused you to be denied medical coverage or have a pre-existing medical condition.
The PCIP plan which is called GettingUSCovered offers a wide range of benefits which includes prescriptions, treatment in a hospital as well as primary and specialty care. These benefits are available to you even if you have a pre-existing condition.
This site has not been given provisions or any marketable information on state PCIP program run by the state of Colorado. We do, however, offer a plan for association group mini medical health insurance plan. This insurance plan is not endorsement by any Federal State or Government agency rather is registered and approved by the Department of Insurance in the State of Colorado. The plan will accept those with a pre-existing conditions with no underwriting and is Guaranteed Issue regardless of medical condition if you have been without coverage for less than 6 months the plan will still accept your application without having to wait 6 months of being without coverage, however do have limitations in coverage.
