MAINE PCIP INFORMATION

Maine or the Pine Tree State has over one million residents and many without insurance coverage. Since the plan has gone into effect for PCIP, a pre-existing condition insurance plan available to state residents can be obtained. The Maine state plan varies from other states that are Federally run however has the same premise.
Condition for pre-exising conditions are accepted and it does cover in a catastrophic. Be aware that there are accepting conditions and not all conditions are qualifiable under the state program. If you are concerned that your condition may not be listed or accepted there are alternative option insurance available.
